Jan Lord

Jan is from Guide Bridge MOT & Service who have won a number of awards through the years including recognition from Pride of Tameside.  Jan said: “I’m extremely honoured to be asked to be chairing the Ashton Independent Business Awards… alongside the other judges. There are so many worthy businesses in the town so I know our job isn’t going to be an easy one this year. Having been a winner in many awards myself over the years I know what it means to a small business to be recognised for all their hard work.” Jan will be Chairing the judging team to review the top nominated businesses in each category with the judging team.

Pauline Town

Pauline is a well known member of the judging team is who has worked exceptionally hard supporting the homeless and other charity projects within the borough.

Luke Mirfin

One of the established management team at Tameside Markets, Luke is the third judge who deals with marketing for our local markets in Tameside.

Jackie Moores

Principal and CEO of Tameside College has seen fruition of Vision Tameside over the past years with projects like Tameside One and the Advanced Technology Centre. The college is currently developing the Construction Skills Centre at the Beaufort Road site. We are delighted to include Jackie as part of the the judging team for these first awards
